Lake Norman Commercial Center is seeking a Commercial Fleet Service Advisor with truck experience. This person must be able to work in a fast paced environment and motivated to earn a high income. Our new 100,000 sq. ft. facility is state-of-the-art and is able to lift heavy duty trucks of all sizes / weights. Our Service center is part of Lake Norman CDJR, while also expanding services to all commercial makes and models.
Qualifications:
A qualified candidate will provide professional customer service to our customers by satisfying their request for repairs and warranty work in the service department. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Applicant must have a proven record of achieving exceptional customer service.
Essential Duties:
- Obtain customer and vehicle data using WiAdvisor.
- Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain vehicle information.
- Write up customer's vehicle problems accurately and clearly on repair order.
- Test drive the vehicle with customer as needed to confirm the problem or refers to test technician. Refer to service history, inspect vehicle, and recommend additional needed service.
- Advise customers on the care of their vehicles and the value of maintaining them in accordance with manufacturers' specifications. Provide a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
- Establish "promised time" in effort to meet customer expectations
- Obtain customer's signature on repair order; provides customer with a copy.
- Establish customer's method of payment. Obtains credit approval, if necessary.
- Check on progress of repair throughout the day.
- Contact customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and obtain proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
- Review repair orders to ensure that work is completed and authorization is noted. Close repair order as appropriate.
- Ensure that vehicles are parked in assigned areas. Make sure they are locked and all keys are marked and put away correctly.
- Explain completed work and all charges to customers.
- Implement a quality control process to eliminate comebacks.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction standards.
- Handle telephone inquiries for quote requests.
- Maintain a professional appearance. Keep work area clean.
